Infor is one of the world’s largest business software companies, serving 70,000 customers in more than 100 countries around the world. Infor adopted the POD system in 2006 through its acquisition of SSA Global which had adopted the system when it bought Baan in 2003. To this day, Infor uses the XLdoc system to create not only marketing collateral but also direct mailers, stationery and business cards.

The Solution
Baan implemented XLdoc, a Publish-on-Demand solution to streamline the logistical process of document creation in 2001. When Baan was acquired by SSA Global, XLdoc was an enormous help in rebranding and integrating all of the company’s literature. This process was continued when SSA merged with Infor in 2006. In 2009, Infor updated its logo and the system made this considerable task very easy. In May 2010 Infor will, once again, begin updating its brand and XLdoc’s new version, 5.x, will make this process even easier.
