Our newest release 5.7 is ready! Next to appealing new functionality, such as tables in the Creation Studio, the performance has also improved considerably.
With the release of XLdoc 5.7, the XLdoc software platform has become more robust and complete. One of the main themes in this release is table functionality in the Creation Studio. A user can now upload a CSV file and the table will be automatically created in XLdoc. Many XLdoc users, especially in the Education sector, have been asking for such a solution.
Another important theme is the integration with Translations.com, a global supplier of localization and languages services. If you need to translate a document in XLdoc, it is now possible to request a translation: the file will be sent in the right format to Translations.com, translated or localized in their system and, when ready, pushed back in XLdoc. The translation is ready for approval in the normal XLdoc approval workflow. We expect that especially Internationally operating companies with a high need for local collateral, will benefit from this new functionality which will speed-up the translation process.
There have also been improvements in the Digital Asset Manager such as importing XMP information of images and download of variable formats.
